What is a CMS?

A content management system is the admin behind the site, where text, images, and pages get updated without touching code. Every Ispas build includes Sanity set up so content stays editable after launch.

What is Astro?

Astro is the framework used to build the site. Used properly, it is the fastest stack for websites: light on JavaScript by default, strong for content sites, calm to load. That speed is a product choice, not an afterthought.

Why not Squarespace or WordPress?

Templates and plugins get a site online fast, but they often fight custom structure, slow down over time, and lock design into themes. Astro + Sanity keeps the site lean, the content model intentional, and the stack owned. That holds up better when the site needs to stay clear as the business grows.

How long does a typical website take?

A focused landing page can land in a few weeks. A full website usually takes several weeks depending on content readiness and revision rounds. Timeline is locked in during kickoff.

What happens after launch?

You own the site. Sanity is set up so you can edit content yourself. Care (35โ‚ฌ/mo) is required for hosting health, stack updates, and break-fixes. If more than maintenance is needed later (content applied for you, or ongoing design and structure work), a custom plan is scoped around that.
